R130 Million PowerBall Jackpot Up for Grabs in South Africa

South Africans could win a guaranteed R130 million PowerBall jackpot this Friday, 10 October – the biggest prize of 2025. Lottery operator ITHUBA confirmed this historic draw date and amount. (ITHUBA statement)

ITHUBA CEO Charmaine Mabuza called the jackpot “a symbol of possibility, hope, and the chance to transform ordinary lives into extraordinary ones.”

Payouts increased nationwide as ITHUBA raised prize allocations from 48% to 50% of ticket sales. Mabuza said: “We are proud to announce the increase in our prize payout to 50%, ensuring that more of every rand spent goes back to South Africans.”
