Minnie Ntuli returns to Gagasi FM after Real Housewives controversy
DURBAN — 18 August 2025
Minnie Ntuli has resumed her co-hosting role on Gagasi FM’s breakfast show after a break sparked by her explosive confrontation on reality TV.
The station confirmed her return via social media, posting: “Minnie Ntuli has resumed her role”. She rejoins Felix Hlophe on “The Uprising” after leaving the show in July.
Fellow presenter Nkulee Mbatha temporarily filled the slot during Ntuli’s absence (unverified).
Her departure followed a heated exchange during “The Real Housewives of Durban” reunion. An unaired clip showed Londie London questioning Ntuli’s upbringing before Ntuli reacted physically and verbally.
Ntuli faced social media backlash and later apologised: “I’ve had to come face to face with the impact of my actions on The Real Housewives of Durban. Watching the show back has been deeply confronting – I’m appalled by how I behave, and I take full accountability for the role I played.”
Despite the apology, Londie London’s lawyers filed legal papers stating: “It is our instruction that during the second episode of the reunion aired on July 11, 2025, you assaulted our client unprovoked and continued to do so even when she was not physically responding to your assault.”
Gagasi FM earlier acknowledged the incident and noted Ntuli apologised to the production, saying: “Our focus is on promoting reconciliation.”
Fans celebrated her comeback by flooding the station’s online platforms with positive messages (Gagasi FM social media).
