Sho Madjozi Celebrates Sister’s National Swimming Achievement

Singer Sho Madjozi has proudly introduced her younger sister Zora Wegerif, a champion swimmer with Down Syndrome representing South Africa internationally.
Madjozi shared a tweet stating: “My little sister swims for the South African national team. 🇿🇦 🏊🏼♂️
Zora is ranked number 1 in female swimmers with Down Syndrome in Gauteng and number 2 in South Africa.” (Sho Madjozi tweet)
Zora currently competes in Thailand at the Virtus World Swimming Championships for athletes with intellectual impairments, running until 30 August.
The musician also posted on Instagram: “She’s ranked #1 of female Swimmers with Down’s Syndrome in Gauteng and #2 in South Africa. She’s currently in Thailand representing the country she works so hard. I’m so proud of her!!”
Madjozi highlighted Zora’s journey as inspiring proof of dedication and perseverance.
Fans celebrated the achievement online, sending supportive messages to both sisters.
Zora’s participation continues South Africa’s strong tradition in Paralympic swimming sports.
