Two more Tshwane metro police officers have been arrested for alleged corruption.
This brings to 13 the number of officers taken into custody since Friday.
Tshwane Metro Police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba says the possibility of more arrests cannot be ruled out.
“We are against corruption as the TMPD, we welcome these arrests and we will continue to make further arrests,” Mahamba said.
Mahamba says the officers are accused of soliciting bribes from motorists.
The suspects are expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
