Cindy Mahlangu joins judging panel for Miss South Africa 2025 finale

Actress and model Cindy Mahlangu has been announced as a judge for the Miss South Africa 2025 finale.

The Miss South Africa organisation revealed Mahlangu’s addition to the star-studded panel on its Instagram page. She will help crown the next titleholder at the October competition.

Organisers introduced Mahlangu in a post reading: “INTRODUCING MISS SA 2025 FINALE JUDGE. An actress, model, and influencer who believes in the power of true confidence and self-belief. @cindy_thando brings her signature style, authenticity, and insight into what it means to own your light on and off the stage. Don’t miss her on the Miss SA 2025 judging panel!”

Mahlangu, known for roles in “Blood & Water” and “The Queen”, brings “poise, style, and confidence” aligning with the pageant’s vision according to organisers. Her presence is expected to offer “a fresh and youthful perspective” to the contest.

She joins Dr Tamaryn Green, Miss South Africa 2018 and Miss Universe first runner-up, who was introduced in a separate post: “INTRODUCING MISS SA 2025 FINALE JUDGE. The finale takes place on 25 October 2025 at Sun International’s SunBet Arena in Pretoria. It launches a new era under the organisation’s “Empower Youth Africa” mandate focused on youth development.

The event celebrates “beauty, confidence, and heritage” as South Africa crowns its next representative on the global stage, organisers stated.
