Mshini Lekwadu asks Emtee to Share Full DMs Over ‘Misleading’ Clip

Big Brother Mzansi star Mshini Lekwadu has urged rapper Emtee to release their full Instagram conversation after he shared select snippets she says misrepresented her professional intentions.

The content creator’s plea follows screenshots from private messages Emtee posted to his Instagram story, where Lekwadu appeared to share her home address without context. She found this misleading as the clip omitted their business discussions (Lekwadu statement).

Lekwadu, a Renault brand ambassador, confirmed the messages were real but stressed they were part of music-related talks. She explained: “After the show, he reached out to me via DM to express his appreciation for my support. I responded by telling him I am a fan and that I would love to be part of one of his future music videos.”

The leaked section showed her address after Emtee asked “when he could visit and where I stayed.” Lekwadu stated: “I responded with my address under the impression that our conversation was strictly business-related and in line with my support for his music.”

In an Instagram story tagging Emtee, she wrote: “Please clear the air and post the full conversation, not just selected screenshots.” Her message added: “You know our chats were innocent and music-related” (social media post).

Lekwadu emphasized her reputation remains priority: “I take my brand, my supporters and my reputation very seriously.”

No public response from Emtee to Lekwadu’s request was available at press time.
