
Ten Finalists Announced for Miss South Africa 2025 Crown
Ten inspiring women will compete for the Miss South Africa 2025 title, with the winner crowned on 25 October at Pretoria’s SunBet Arena. Each finalist aims to use the platform for impactful social change, as announced by the Miss South Africa Organisation.
A judging panel including journalist Devi Sankaree Govender, Miss SA 2022 Ndavi Nokeri, and business coach Liezel van der Westhuizen selected these finalists after weeks of deliberation, with oversight from an auditing firm. The Organisation states this year’s crown emphasizes “lasting and meaningful impact.”
The finalists, listed alphabetically, come from diverse professional backgrounds:
Bridgette Jones (28), Bridgetown, Cape Town: Flight attendant studying Management, motto: “No one gets left behind.”
Ghee-Ann Rademan (23), Cape Town: Psychology graduate running an online counselling platform, motto: “Here to love and to serve.”
Gizelle Venske (27), Pretoria: Chartered Accountant mentoring financial literacy, motto: “A woman who follows her own footsteps will find herself in places no one else has ever been.”
Karabo Mareka (28), Alexandra (USA-based): Flight attendant encouraging youth opportunities, motto: “You will never know unless you try. What do you have to lose?”
Lebo Msimanga (27), Midrand: Client manager running youth feeding programs, motto: “Stick to the plan, not your mood.”
Luyanda Zuma (23), Johannesburg: Actress supporting African storytelling initiatives, motto: “You are never too young to lead.”
Nelly Mashile (28), Boksburg: Doctor advancing educational access, motto: “Dream big; Reality will be bigger.”
Nthabiseng Kgasi (30), Bryanston: Marketing Manager bridging digital divides, motto: “Let your ‘why’ guide you every step of the way.”
Qhawekazi Mazaleni (24), Randburg: Speech therapist focusing on Autism advocacy, motto: “It’s only embarrassing if you’re embarrassed. Don’t be afraid to be seen trying.”
Zanele Phakathi (27), Pretoria: IT specialist and education mentor, motto: “God’s timing is perfect.”
The Organisation highlights that the pageant focuses on “vision, purpose and change,” with all finalists set to leverage their platforms for empowerment regardless of the final outcome.
