Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi celebrated her 32nd birthday today with a reflective Instagram post showcasing her seaside celebration.
The Miss South Africa 2019 titleholder marked her special day by sharing a video of herself swimming against an ocean sunset backdrop, continuing her tradition of international birthday celebrations (social media post). In 2023 she celebrated in Greece, followed by Tanzania in 2024.
In her post, Tunzi expressed gratitude with the message: “+1🎂🎈Thank you God for another year of this wonderful life🤍Ngokuba wena wazibumba izintso zam. Wandibiyela esizalweni sikama.Ndiyabulela kuwe ngenxa enokuba ndenziwe ngokoyikekayo, ngokubalulekileyo; Zibalulekile izenzo zakho. Umphefumlo wam uyazi kakuhle- PSALM 139:13-14.”
The isiXhosa scripture translates to: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Celebrity well-wishes flooded the comments, including actress Cindy Mahlangu’s “Happy Birthday Beautiful♥️” and Zenande Mfenyana’s “Happy Birthday Zozi, enjoy your day 💐🎉🎊💃” (Instagram comments).
The birthday follows notable career moments including hosting August’s Miss Universe Tanzania finale in Dar es Salaam. Her personal milestone came earlier this year with a March wedding at Belair Pavilion in the Cape Winelands (social media announcement).
Tunzi shared bridal photos captioned: “22/03/2025. I love you endlessly … husband.”
