Amanda du-Pont hints at new romance in TikTok birthday tribute

South African actress Amanda du-Pont has sparked relationship rumors after sharing a romantic TikTok post celebrating her new partner’s birthday. The post features the couple holding hands with coordinated outfits.

On 10 September 2025, du-Pont uploaded the picture with the caption: “Happy birthday my love 🫶🏽.” She leaned against the mystery man who wore a dark suit with his arm around her waist. Another caption stated: “My definition of wealth is loving you.”

Fans celebrated the apparent reveal, though du-Pont didn’t show her boyfriend’s face. Rea Walker commented: “I personally love it when God restores 🔥.” Kgopotso Mooi added: “Amanda, my dear, this is him, the man you were crying for when you were born.”

One critical viewer, Sativandica, posted: “liked ur hot white boyfriend better 🙄.” du-Pont responded directly: “Ok well I wasn’t treated right 🙄. And ex husband not boyfriend.”

This appeared to reference her marriage to Shawn Rodriques. According to TshisaLIVE, their divorce finalized on 20 January 2023 after three years of marriage. The couple had been engaged since July 2018.
