Wandi Ndlovu Defers Matric Rewrite After Laptop Theft

Radio personality Wandi Ndlovu has postponed her matric rewrite exams scheduled for September after her study materials were stolen.

Ndlovu confirmed her enrollment via a screenshot shared online, stating: “One of my biggest goals this year was to rewrite my matric and I was supposed to write my exams this month” (social media post).

She revealed her exams were postponed after her MacBook containing study materials was stolen. “But sadly, I have to postpone my exams to November, and my plan was to post next year when I get my results to celebrate with you guys,” she wrote.

Despite the setback, Ndlovu encouraged followers: “I want to say, whatever situation you are in, don’t give up. The one who falls and gets up is stronger than the one who gives up.”

The announcement drew widespread support online. Bonolo Mpofu responded: “Wandi Ndlovu, let me screenshot this, and make it my reason to rewrite my life and go back to school and redo my matric. There are no shortcuts in life 🥺❤️ thank you so much for the inspiration.”

Anna-Marie Kay Shabangu commented: “This I love seeing, a young woman empowering herself and taking control of her future. Go ahead and rewrite; you will be amazed at how remarkably well you will do. Good luck.”

Ndlovu will rewrite English and Mathematics in November. Her journey has inspired social media users to pursue academic goals despite obstacles.
