SA singer Elaine launches wellness studio Soft Girl Sundaze for self-care

South African R&B star Elaine has expanded into wellness with her new Pilates studio Soft Girl Sundaze, launched on Women’s Day with celebrity guests.

The Johannesburg studio offers more than workouts, embracing self-care and creativity through a “softness as strength” approach. Elaine described it as “a wellness experience rooted in music and culture” for women to connect and recharge.

The 9 August launch featured a Pilates session and live music. On Instagram, Elaine called the event “absolutely perfect” adding: “Watching all my ideas come to life is such a blessing.” She thanked attendees and collaborators including @violyy and @shonezejayd, ending with “stay tuned for SGS edition 2.”

Guests included celebrities like Ayanda Thabethe, who posted: “Honoured to celebrate the launch of @softgirllsundaze lovingly curated by @elaineofficial_, a soulful blend of sisterhood, slow living & pure joy.”

Singer Naledi Aphiwe shared appreciation, writing: “Thank you sesi for hosting such a wonderful event. Soft girl Women’s Day hosted by @elaineofficial — such a girlsss girl.”

The event featured floral decor, food and music. Elaine’s concept merges fitness with community-building, centered on what she calls “celebrating self-care and embracing softness.”
