
Gogo Skhotheni Stars in First Acting Role as Drama Series Debuts
South African media personality Gogo Skhotheni has celebrated her acting debut in Mzansi Bioskop’s new drama series “Puseletso”, calling it a dream come true.
The sangoma and DJ, whose real name is Tumi Motsoeneng, plays Sister Rachel – described as “a strict but inspiring choir instructor” in the production. This marks her first professional acting role after years of media work.
She shared her excitement on Instagram: “My heart is full. Today, I stepped into my very first acting role as Sister Racheal. A dream I’ve carried quietly has finally come to life. Forever grateful for this opportunity, the team, and the journey ahead. Ngiyabonga.”
