RHOD Star Jojo Robinson Sells McLaren Supercar, Eyes New Luxury Ride

Reality TV personality Jojo Robinson has sold her prized yellow McLaren 570S and announced plans to replace it with another supercar after her Middle East travels next month.

The Real Housewives of Durban star shared Instagram photos of herself with the luxury vehicle before confirming its sale. She wrote: “Said goodbye to our beautiful McLaren today after 2 years together. We made the call to sell her. We had so many good memories in that car, but sometimes you need a little something different. So once we get back from Dubai and Abu Dhabi next month, we will start looking for a new supercar baby to add to the family.” (Instagram post)

Robinson revealed she’s considering either a Lamborghini Huracán or Ferrari 488 GTB as her next vehicle, adding: “Any suggestions? We obviously still have our other cars, so we need something in the SUPER car category to replace her. We aren’t in a rush, we want the right car for us — something we haven’t already owned.” (Instagram post)

The McLaren 570S sells for R2.8-R3.9 million secondhand locally, while Robinson’s preferred replacements are considerably pricier. Lamborghini Huracáns retail at R5-R7 million and Ferrari 488 GTBs at R4.5-R6.5 million in South Africa.

Robinson noted her gold dress in the farewell pictures came from Shein and cost just R135, contrasting her budget fashion with premium cars. She previously made headlines in October 2024 when acquiring South Africa’s first 2025 Ford Mustang GT, named “Madison.”

Fans now await the next addition to Robinson’s luxury car collection, which she’ll begin hunting after returning from the UAE.
