Kayak names top 10 countries for travellers to visit in 2025

Travel booking site Kayak has revealed its top 10 countries to visit in 2025, highlighting destinations suited for safaris, city trips, wellness retreats and slow travel experiences.

The list uses insights from Kayak’s Travel Check-in report and considers everything from wildlife viewing to cultural exploration and “hygge” lifestyles.

Zimbabwe leads the ranking as a top safari destination with wildlife-rich parks like Hwange and Mana Pools, plus natural wonders such as Victoria Falls.

Lithuania (second) offers historic architecture and lakeside escapes, while Sri Lanka (third) features tea plantations, beaches, and ancient ruins, described as the “teardrop of India”.

Fourth-placed South Korea mixes modern Seoul with coastal temples, and fifth-ranked Argentina delivers mountains, vineyards, and Patagonian adventures.

Rounding out the list are Morocco (sixth), Norway (seventh) with its fjords, Moldova (eighth) as an emerging wine destination, Hong Kong (ninth) for urban adventures, and Denmark (tenth) for its signature cosy lifestyle. (Kayak report)
