Lebo M calls off engagement to Mel Ntsala months after reunion

Grammy winner Lebo M has reportedly ended his engagement to Mel Ntsala just three months after their high-profile reunion, insider sources say.

The legendary Lion King composer rekindled his relationship with Ntsala in June 2025, celebrating with a lavish yacht proposal in Dubai during a vacation estimated to cost R2 million.

Morake shared the engagement news on Instagram at the time, declaring: “The day we stop believing in love and possibilities is when we stop dreaming. Very grateful to find my dream come true and begin this new chapter.” The post has since been deleted.

Sources close to the couple told TshisaLIVE their romance had been “faltering for some time,” ultimately resulting in the breakup.

This marks the second failed engagement between the pair, following their 2019 proposal and 2020 separation which reportedly occurred amid infidelity rumours.
