Miss South Africa 2025 Grand Finale announced for Pretoria

The Miss South Africa 2025 Grand Finale will crown its winner at Pretoria’s SunBet Arena on 25 October. Organisers confirmed the date and venue for the prestigious pageant.

Three judges will select the Top 10 contestants: Ndavi Nokeri (Miss South Africa 2022), journalist Devi Sankaree Govender, and neuroscience coach Liezel van der Westhuizen.

Van der Westhuizen emphasized the crown represents more than beauty: “Miss South Africa is not just about beauty. It’s about resilience, service and the ability to inspire others. The women we have chosen for this year’s Top 10 embody determination and compassion and they are ready to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond.”

Nokeri stated her criteria: “In a Miss South Africa I’m looking for a woman who has a deep understanding of the country that she wants to represent. Our country has a lot of complexities, so someone with also a good strong head on her shoulders I think would make a great Miss South Africa.”

Govender highlighted the need for boldness: “I’m looking for someone who’s absolutely bold and brave. I don’t want somebody sitting there and giving me the same old answers. I want somebody who’s not afraid to speak their mind. Because it’s only when you speak the truth that you can bring about any kind of change.”

The competition promises a showcase of talent and leadership, with the winner set to represent South Africa internationally.
