Relebogile Mabotja Celebrates 40th Birthday Amid Career Milestones

Radio and TV host Relebogile Mabotja is celebrating her 40th birthday today, sharing a vibrant picture on social media where she received warm wishes fans and fellow celebrities.

The “702 Afternoons” host marked the milestone wearing a long, flowing colourful dress, with colleagues like Radio 702 posting: “Happy Birthday to the host with most. We love and appreciate you.” (Radio 702 statement).

Actress Lerato Mvelase welcomed her to “the 4th floor” saying: “It’s amazing here. God cover you in this new season,” while chef Lorna Maseko added: “Happy birthday gorgeous, wishing you many more.” (Instagram replies).

The celebration comes during a career high. Mabotja’s Radio 702 show was recently nominated for Best Social Media Use at the South African Social Media Awards (SASMA).

She also won TV Producer of the Year at the 2025 Basadi in Music Awards for Showmax’s “Untied”, calling it a career milestone after starting as a production assistant at 18. (BiMA records).
